3-Day Home Defense, Preparedness, and Defensive Shooting Course
This comprehensive 3-day course is designed to equip you and your family with the tools and knowledge to be prepared for emergencies and defend your home effectively.
This course includes classroom training for the entire family and range training for two individuals. Included is a copy of the USCCA Book Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals.
Additional Family Members: Additional family members can participate in the range training for $50 each, which covers rental and ammunition for two .22 LR pistols.
Classroom Location: Classroom sessions will be conducted in your home for convenience and personalization.
Flexible Scheduling: The course can be split over multiple weeks or conducted in one week, depending on your schedule.

Day 1: Preparedness (In-Home)
Learn how to develop a home-specific preparedness plan tailored to your family’s needs. This session covers risk assessment, creating detailed emergency plans, and building essential emergency kits to ensure you’re ready for any situation.

Day 2: Home Defense Planning (In-Home)
Focus on identifying weak points in your home’s security and developing a home defense plan. You’ll also explore Florida’s "defend your castle" laws and the use of force. The day concludes with range preparation.

Day 3: Range Day at Ares Range
Put your skills into practice with firearm safety, handling, and basic defensive shooting techniques. This day also includes an introductory rifle class, ensuring you have a solid foundation in both pistol and rifle defense.

Day 1 Substitutions
Day 1 (Preparedness) In-Home training can be substituted with Laser/Dry fire Training or Stop the Bleed.
