Defensive Pistol (1)
The Defensive Pistol (1) course is a beginner-level class designed to introduce new shooters and those new to defensive pistol techniques to the fundamentals of safe and effective firearm use. Conducted at The Gun Shop Inc & Gun Range in Leesburg, FL, this indoor range-based course focuses on building a strong foundation for defensive pistol shooting.
Defensive Pistol (3)
The Defensive Pistol (3) course is an advanced-level class designed to elevate your defensive shooting skills. Conducted at Ares Training Facility in Leesburg, FL, this range-focused course builds on foundational skills and prepares students for real-world defensive scenarios.
FL Basic CCW Course
This streamlined CCW course is ideal for individuals who already have experience with pistols and are looking to complete the training and qualification necessary to apply for a Florida Concealed Carry Permit.
The class includes a personal Zoom session covering essential Florida self-defense laws, firearm safety, and concealed carry responsibilities. After the virtual portion, students will complete a live-fire qualification at The Gun Shop indoor range in Leesburg, demonstrating safe handling and accuracy with their firearm.
If you're confident with your pistol skills and just need to complete your CCW training, this course is for you.
Defensive Rifle (1)
Defensive Rifle (1) class is held at Ares Training Facility in Leesburg, FL. This course is perfect for individuals new to or seeking a solid foundation with the Modern Sporting Rifle (MSR) and is designed to build essential skills and knowledge for safe and effective rifle use and understanding the components, functions, and features of the MSR, including its operation and maintenance basics.
Defensive Rifle (3)
Take your defensive skills to the next level with Defensive Rifle (3) by Viking 6 Tactical. This advanced class focuses on enhancing your defensive posture by seamlessly integrating pistol and rifle techniques for maximum tactical effectiveness. Designed for those with prior pistol and rifle training, this course equips you with the advanced skills necessary to respond effectively in dynamic situations.

The Basic Defensive Pistol (2) is a 2-hour range training designed for beginner shooters who already possess a foundational understanding of defensive shooting principles. This class builds upon basic skills and prepares students for more advanced defensive scenarios. Training is conducted at Ares Training Facility in Leesburg, FL.
FL Beginner CCW Course
This course is ideal for those new to firearms. The classroom portion is one-on-one over Zoom, covering Florida CCW laws and safety. The 2-hour range session at The Gun Shop in Leesburg focuses on stance, grip, and accuracy—no prior experience needed!
You'll earn a Florida CCW certificate, allowing you to apply for a permit recognized in 37 states, even as a non-resident. A safe, supportive start to your concealed carry journey!
FL Advanced CCW Course
This class combines personalized online instruction with hands-on range training to prepare you for real-world concealed carry. The course begins with a 2-hour one-on-one Zoom session covering Florida self-defense laws, situational awareness, and post-incident steps. You’ll then complete a 2-hour advanced defensive shooting session at Ares Training Facility in Leesburg, where you’ll practice holster draws, movement drills, and speed shooting. This is more than just a certificate, this is practical, purpose-driven training that goes far beyond the standard CCW class.
Defensive Rifle (2)
Defensive Rifle (2) is held at Ares Training Facility in Leesburg, FL. This advanced class builds on the foundations established in Defensive Rifle (1) and introduces dynamic techniques to enhance your proficiency and tactical awareness, moving while shooting and developing practical skills to load and resolve malfunctions.
LEOSA Familiarization Course
The Florida LEOSA Firearms Familiarization Course is designed specifically for retired law enforcement officers who need training to meet the new qualification standards effective July 1, 2024. This comprehensive class covers all the recent changes in the qualification process, ensuring that participants are well-prepared to meet the updated requirements. Not a qualification.
